MetaShield’s primary technology is an advanced formula based coating that combines glass-like transparency and durability with the flexibility and versatility normally associated with polymers. The proprietary coating matrix allows for customization with a variety of embedded nanoparticles to offer enhanced properties such as glass break resistance, transparent UV blocking, scratch resistance, and oleophobicity, among several others.

The MetaShield Difference
Unlike many advanced coating platforms, which require complex application methods (vapor deposition, baking, and sputter coating) and extensive heat curing, MetaShield formulas are designed for conventional spray application, and cure within minutes into transparent and highly durable thin films. The patent-pending coating platforms often serve as robust and durable hosts for nanoparticles that can be employed for a variety of desired properties and effects (see ‘Scalability’.)
